Paul Fox: 10. Governance and Access

The ePM is managed under change control. Because it is an actively and aggressively evolving body of work, it is vital to keep updates flowing in a thoughtful and coordinated way.

The ESCA has chartered the ePM Committee to meet periodically to decide changes to the model and engage appropriate resources to undertake directed changes and additions. The ePM Committee will report to the Advisory Council semi-annually on changes to the ePM.

ESCA members can view all levels and elements of the ePM. Non-members will be able to access the overall model information and a limited amount of detail.

Subscriptions to the ePM will be offered to ESCA members. Subscribing provides access to the ePM for purposes of submitting proposed changes for consideration by the ePM Committee. The ePM Committee will review all changes in a timely manner and provide feedback to the submitter. Agreed changes will be rolled forward into the next numerical revision of the ePM for review by the ESCA Advisory Council. The ePM Committee, over time, will include members from the roster of subscriber companies.

All ESCA member companies will be able to submit “white papers” or other relevant documents for organization under the ePM grid. The ePM committee will consider such submissions for inclusion as relevant documents and propose a mapping to the ePM. These collateral submissions will be reviewed semi-annually by the ESCA Advisory Council.
